Superb training Jon!! I so appreciate how you are willing to share everything. You truly live by the Zig Ziegler motto: You can have everything in life you want, if you just help enough others get what they want. I look forward to the journey. Thanks.

This is a great training resource covering the basics of the EN blogging system. Thanks for the other important resources especially the how to create a custom blog header.

    You rock!

How do you add a picture near the About the Author space? I don’t see that option in the profile area

    • Jon Mroz

Hi Saleem, you will need to set up an account with gravitar.com – it is free and this is the easiest way. Best of all – when you set up an account there, anytime you post a comment on ANYONE’s blog, your picture will show up. Just be sure to use the same email address with http://gravitar.com as you did in your profile with Empower Network.

Hmmm, I was trying to add an aweber form to the sidebar, but every time I click “save” it disappears. Is it some kind of a glitch?

Thank you all in advance :)

    Great training btw! :)

    Jon,
Quick question, you mention in your video on your 10th minute that we could do several Empower Network sites and put alternate use names. I do not have this option on my Empower site. Has this option been taken out?
    Thanks,

Hey Emmanuel, unfortunately they have disabled this feature due to the affiliate links not matching the new usernames created when creating the new sites. They may re-enable it in the future

Struggling through the sections — will be trying my first post tonight. Training is very thorough so it is just going to take time practice and trial and error as I get started.

    Hi Jon,

Great training, I’ve been looking for somebody to explain me WordPress like you did. I’m going to the second video now. Thanks again for such a good work!

Jon, thanks for some terrific training. it takes getting used to but having your video as a reference point is great for review.
two things i saw, or did no as the case might be.
    1. Under My Sites i only had my EN available, not an option to add other sites as desired. perhpas i am missing something here.
2.you had some Widgets for Facebook, and a tab for this. is this an option added from somewhere or again am i missing something that allows me to take this out to those pages?
    thanks again for the knowledge.

Hey Risk, good to hear from you.

Yes, Please remember that technology will always change and they will continue to update things but for the most part, all the training still applies. See below:

1.) Empower Network disabled creating multiple sites due to the fact that your affiliate link will not work with the 2nd username. They may have a solution in the future though.
2.) Not sure about the facebook thing. Can you email me a screenshot so I know what you are referring to? Thanks.

    Hey Jon

Great training I learned a lot from this video, later on I’m going to watch again. Just have a question about writing a blog, how many words does it have to be?

    • Jon Mroz

Hey Santiago, it is best to keep your posts around 500 or more words to rank the best in the search engines.

WoW!!! I am totally new to computers and blogging. Been living in a cave for the past 20 years!!!
But your information is Great!!! You make it all seem simpler than I’m sure it will be to remember and apply. I will Definitely give it my all.

    Here’s a quick tip though:

You should make a step by step video tutorial taking newbies from the first step in creating their blog
to the last. Complete with screen shots and everything! That should make it all easier.

Overall though, Excellent content Jon. Thank you.

Great to hear from you Leonel, and glad you are enjoying the training :)

If you are referring to creating a blog POST from A to Z (for empower network – since your blog is already created for you), you will find those tutorials in within this training site under the keyword research, SEO, and copywriting modules.

If you are referring to creating your own Self Hosted BLOG from A to Z, you can find that here: http://www.jonmroz.com/all-about-wordpress/

      Hope that helps.

Awesome job! I am new to blogging and I love how I can stop the video, go over to my blog and experiment, then come back to where I left off at.

Thank you Jon for this valuable training! This is definitely the missing link I have needed as someone who is completely new to this industry. I have only finished one video training so far and already feel one step closer to gaining a firm understanding on what I am doing and that is a huge confidence booster! Thank you again.
